- is currently being treated with long-term corticosteroid therapy
(medications)
- has had an allergic reaction to mifepristone, misoprostol or similar drugs
- has bleeding problems or is taking anticoagulant (blood thinning) drug
products
- has inherited porphyria (liver disorder)
- has an intrauterine device (IUD) in place (it must be removed before
taking Mifeprex).
Just be informed and know the facts before taking any meds. I heard a story of a young girl that took the abortion pill without having an ultrasound first. Well, the pregnancy was in her fallopian tubes not in her uterus, so the abortion pill didn’t work. Her fallopian tube ruptured and she had emergency surgery, which resulted in her losing a fallopian tube.
